Lapland is a vast region extending to the north of the Scandinavian peninsula and involving Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, where the Sami population lives and has a strong connection with nature and reindeer farming.
In a remote area in the north of Finland we will live the unique experience of the polar winter. The Northern Lights will accompany us at night, while sled dogs, reindeer and snowshoes will be our companions during the day.
A week full of activities to fully experience these magical places in search of the Northern Lights and sighting of this very particular natural phenomenon. This time of year is great for spotting the Northern Lights as there are many hours of darkness as the sun rises at 9 and sets at 15, so we will be able to enjoy the light for excursions but also the darkness for the "hunting" auroras.
