The Aeolian Islands take their name from the God Aeolus (the God of the wind), who according to mythology resided right on the island of Lipari. They represent an extraordinary research field for geologists from all over the world, they are a real outdoor archaeological park. Not only history and geology but also from a landscape-environmental point of view, the Aeolian Islands are a real “Unicum” in the southern Mediterranean basin. Still active volcanoes, unique and wild landscapes of uncontaminated nature and luxuriant Mediterranean scrub combined with the spectacle of the crystalline sea with warm thermal waters make this trekking truly priceless and unmissable.
We will be based on the island of Lipari and from there every day we will leave to discover new itineraries.
Nature, volcanoes and even the sea will accompany us on this unique as well as wonderful journey not to be missed.
