Escursione sul Monte Castello di Gaino da Navazzo

Meeting at 9.00 at Villa d'Almè (Niniva bar) from where we will reach the town of Pizzino. Here, once we have taken the ticket for the road, we will reach the town of Bonetto from where our walk will begin, which will have the Piani di Artavaggio as its first stop. We will then reach the Nicola refuge and continue north towards the summit of Cima di Piazzo. The strategic position of this mountain, whose height slightly exceeds 2000m, offers wonderful views of all the Orobie and in particular a wonderful view of the Pizzo dei Tre Signori which rises right in front of it. After the well-deserved break at the summit we will return to the starting point by making a loop passing through the Gherardi refuge and near the "Brembana pyramid" of Mount Sodadura.
