Fun and scenic excursion through the beautiful whitewashed landscapes of this season. We will walk through beautiful valleys and pastures that in this season covered by snow make the landscape truly unique and wonderful and then reach the panoramic Passo del Costone.

Meeting: 7:00 am in the car park via Trieste Chiuduno or alternatively at 8:45 am in the locality of Paline (BS).
After the town of Borno, we will park in the locality of Paline (Croce di Salven).
You enter the Boschi del Giovetto di Paline Nature Reserve, climbing through a beautiful coniferous forest, populated by red and white firs and larch trees in the higher part, up to the Giovetto pass. The reserve is also famous for the populations of Formica Rufa, who embellish the wood with their characteristic domed nests (acervi).
From Passo del Giovetto, turning right, continue along the path along the ridge of the Costone, until you reach the pass of the same name. The view of the nearby Pizzo Camino and the Bergamo Orobie Mountains to the north is beautiful, while, to the south, it sweeps across Valle Camonica.
