Walk through history in the wild Val Masino. A fantastic loop tour in the grandiose Val Masino among rock towers, clear waters, millenary trees and glaciers. History but also a lot of nature will be the basis of this wonderful and unique excursion.

A fantastic loop tour in the grandiose Val Masino among rock towers, clear waters, millenary trees and glaciers.
Meeting in Palazzago (Domus Nova Cafè bar) at 6.30 or directly in Chiareggio at 8.30.
We will go to the discovery of Lake Pirola, a blue pearl set between steep rocky walls at the foot of Mount Disgrazia, continuing then admiring some centuries-old larches and one that is even millenary before reaching the Gerli-Porro refuge from which we will return to Chiareggio.
Difference in altitude +1100 m, duration 3.5 hours (ascent).
